Bayview Opera House – Program and Event Director

Bayview Opera House is looking for a skilled program and event director who will be responsible for overseeing all events and programs including rentals. The Bayview Opera House is currently redesigning its program and event plans for the new season, and is looking for an experienced person who is able to create new forward looking programs and events, while also continuing existing programs and attracting relevant cultural rental events to our facility.

Requirements
-B.S. or B.A. is required. MBA/MFA a plus
-A minimum of three years of experience in management or programming in a contemporary
arts organization, museum or public gallery is preferred
-Connections to and knowledge of the San Francisco Bay Area art scene preferred
-Proven budget management skills

This position is a full-time exempt position. Significant evening and weekend times as required by scheduled activities.

Compensation and benefits
Salary/wage is negotiable and commensurate with experience
Health and dental insurance (no co-pay)
401(k)
