Dangerous Lorraines Dance Theater- "Cafe Lorraine," a dream-like piece, in which abstract imagery opens doors to new perceptions of human interactions in a collage of movement, text and video vignettes combined to expose the inner landscapes of need, control and the desire to be needed. The multi-ethnic cast demonstrates strength and vulnerability through quick glimpses of diverse emotional states- raw sensuality, both visceral and joyfully kinetic, collide through tangible partnering and spontaneous physicality. Tattva Dance Academy is the first and only dance school in the Bay Area that teaches fusion dance as a stand alone dance form. All dance forms from Indian Classical, Jazz, Break, Contemporary to Capoeira are taught under the same roof.
