Brain-‐Compatible Creative Dance Teacher Training is a participatory course in Creative Dance Teaching Methods including the Brain Dance. This course is designed for dance educators at all levels, classroom and music teachers, art and physical education specialists, and dancers interested in learning to teach Creative Dance in a dance studio or public school setting.

• Explore Bartenieff Fundamentals.
• Increase expertise in teaching creative dance conceptually.
• Learn class management techniques to create a collaborative and positive atmosphere.
• Focus on National Dance Standards for dance education.
About the Instructor:
Mindy Krasner, a professional ballet dancer who trained in New York City, was a member of major ballet companies in the United States and Europe, and performed and toured internationally. Ms. Krasner has extensive training and experience in teaching Creative Dance to people of all ages including seniors. She trained with Anne Green Gilbert at the Creative Dance Center in Seattle, the Professional Artists Teaching in K-12 Schools at City Center in New York City, and the Dance Education Laboratory workshops at the 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center in New York City. She is also a private yoga instructor and has extensive training in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies. Mindy’s diverse background, passion and love for dance shines through her teaching, and gives others the experience of finding their own joy and creativity through dancing and teaching.
