On Thursday, April 23rd Luna Dance Institute hosts 20 Points of View: a peek into dance-making at our home studio in Berkeley, 605 Addison St, Berkeley, CA 94710. This is a free all-day open-studio event. This exciting day features 20 local choreographers making dances, improvising, rehearsing, and performing for a half hour each in our Aquatic Park studio. We invite school groups, families and community members to visit the studio at any point during the day from 9am-7:30pm for a rare peek into the art-making process and the opportunity to see working choreographers in action, and ask them about their creations. Featured choreographers include Evangel King, Mary Armentrout, Bibene Chanel and Kiandanda Dance Theater, Rosemary Hannon, Navarrete x Kajiyama Dance Theater (NAKA) and many others.
